Abu Dhabi shines in Onboard Services Awards

Abu Dhabi Airport Catering and Duty Free (ADDF) has been awarded the top prize for terminal concessions in the Onboard Services Awards 2003

The operator received the diamond award for an entry based on its current expansion project, including the installation of 20 new shops, and the opening of its border store on the land crossing with Saudi Arabia.

Chairman of the department of civil aviation sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan said: "I am delighted at the achievement of Abu Dhabi International Airport. The success of our strategy has been proved by these awards."

ADDF was also highly commended for its inflight catering, and received the sapphire (third-place) award in the category.
