Abu Dhabi introduces 24-hour pharmacy

Abu Dhabi Duty Free has opened a new pharmacy in partnership with a local retailer

Abu Dhabi Duty Free (ADDF) has opened a 25sq m (269sq ft) 24-hour pharmacy at its ground floor shopping complex.

The pharmacy has been opened between the food and confectionery shop and the Oasis café in new space produced as result of expansion. The pharmacy is a joint venture between ADDF and a local pharmaceutical company.

Managing director of ADDF Mohamed Mounib said: "We have carried out a great deal of market research and identified the need for a pharmacy outlet within Abu Dhabi Duty Free. Early indications are very positive and the shop is proving to be very popular indeed."
