ASUTIL 2002 set for Montevideo

The annual ASUTIL South American duty-free conference will take place in Montevideo, Uruguay on September 4 to 6 this year. The event will be co-organised for the third year running by Raven Fox, publisher of travelretailworld.com and leading trade titles Duty-Free News International and Travel Retailer International.

All the leading regional operators will make presentations. And in a break with tradition, members of the ASUTIL board will co-chair some sessions with the Raven Fox moderators, led by DFNI editor-in-chief Dermot Davitt.

ASUTIL secretary-general José Luis Donagaray said: "This event is more important than ever in a tough year for the business. It gives everybody with a stake in the South American business the opportunity to discuss the challenges facing our industry. All the key operators will be heavily involved."
