ASUR awards airport advertising concession

Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (ASUR), the operator of Cancun and eight other airports in the southeastern region of Mexico, has awarded the airport advertising concession to a consortium of JCDecaux and UDC. The eight year contract, which commences in September 2001, covers all advertising units at the airports including external areas such as billboards, clock advertising, trolleys, furniture, light boxes and exhibition areas.

JCDecaux of France is a world leader in airport advertising, as well as a designer and manufacturer of street furniture. UDC is the leading airport advertising company in Mexico and is present in 35 airports throughout Mexico.
