Hamburg-based travel-retail supplier Hanse Distribution offers inflight accessories, watches and cosmetics from established brands

Airline Retail Conference (ARC) 2011 organisers have announced Hamburg-based travel-retail supplier Hanse Distribution as this year's first official partner.

The company supplies duty-free channels in Europe, Asia/Pacific, Africa and the Middle East with inflight-specific ranges of accessories, watches and cosmetics from established brands, in addition to its own Swiss-made inflight watch range Ballast.

Hanse Distribution director Nikolas Hogrefe said: "We are delighted to be an official partner at ARC 2011 as we see the need for a greater sense of cooperation between the various stakeholders in the inflight business. Collaboration between airlines and their suppliers can only be a good thing. We are looking forward to meeting existing and potential customers and we have taken a large exhibition space to reaffirm our commitment to inflight and to ARC."

ARC director Alex Vail added: "The Airline Retail Conference has a reputation for working with great inflight service providers so Hanse Distribution is the perfect partner for us. They have a strong track record of working with airline clients and we share a vision to improve the quality and selection of onboard products. The team looks forward to working closely with Hanse to create the best ARC yet."

Over 250 delegates have registered for the event in London including attendees from more than 40 airlines such as British Airways, Virgin Atlantic Airways and Lufthansa. For more information on ARC 2011 or to register visit www.airlineretail.com.
