The show this month in Macau will feature several first-time inflight suppliers
The organisers of the Airline Retail Conference (ARC) 2011 Asia-Pacific have announced the product innovations that will be featured at this year’s inaugural edition of the event, which will be staged on January 11-12 in Macau. The 21-stand supporting suppliers’ exhibition will feature new products including inflight retail exclusives and developments in product design.
Among the exhibitors, Bonbon Watch will preview an inflight exclusive: a hand‐crafted, Swarovski‐studded ladies’ watch. Hong Kong fashion brand for businesswomen Rosarini will use the exhibition as a platform as it expands into the inflight market for the first time. And the Italian government has sponsored Enoteca Regionale Emilia Romagna to promote the vineyards of the Emilia Romagna region at ARC, profiling a range of fine wines for delegates to sample.
Also on show will be the latest launch of The Wandering Monkey and its children’s travel product The Activity Pack, which its claims is experiencing strong inflight sales and securing multiple listings around the world. The Patrón Spirits Co will be present a bar serving Patrón Añejo Tequila, Patrón Silver Tequila and Patrón XO Café throughout the event.
Exhibition manager Mike Sawicki says “We are pleased with the mix of companies supporting this event. The main ARC show in London has a long‐established reputation for the diversity and innovation of our exhibitors and we are delighted delegates in Macau will benefit from the same mix.”
