Delagtes from 20 airlines sign up and stand space is expanded for the event to be held in London
Advance bookings for this year's Airline Retail Conference (ARC) have been the fastest in the show’s five-year history according to the organisers.
In the space of one week since the booking process opened delegates from 20 airlines have signed up, including easyJet, KLM, AirTran Airways, BMI, Qatar Airways, Jet2.com, SunExpress, Etihad Airways, Thomson Airways, JetStar and Lufthansa.
ARC delegate co‐ordinator Shelly Guerrero said: “The response we have had from airlines since we opened booking has been incredible. Everybody I speak to is excited about the event and looking forward to coming to London in June.”
Numbers participating in The Supporting Key Suppliers’ exhibition has also exceeded expectations. The space has now been expanded by one third to offer 42 stands.
Over 400 senior delegates are expected to attend from airlines, concessionaires and travel-retail suppliers according to organisers.
The conference agenda is set to be announced this month and will respond directly to requests from delegates to address the pressing concerns of the industry in the current climate.
ARC 2011 will take place from June 30 to July 1 at The Brewery, London.
