ACI Montreal conference to focus on commercialisation
Alliances, quality of service the environment and airport commercialisation will be the main themes of the Airports Council International (ACI) World/North America conference being held in Montreal from 9 to 12 September.
The conference will be opened by ACI director general Jonathan Howe, president of ACI North America David Plavin, president and ceo of Aéroports de Montreal James Cherry, chairman of ACI North America and executive director of Minneapolis/St Paul airport Jeffrey Hamiel and the chairman of ACI and director general of Sharjah Airport Authority Ghanem Al Hajri.
The conference plenary sessions and special presentations will address airport and airline alliances, airport commercialisation, e-business strategies and services, airports in emerging economies and a segment on the US-China airports cooperation programme.. Among the speakers confirmed are Aer Rianta ceo John Burke, Aéroports de Paris president Yves Cousquer and vice chairman of the Fraport executive board Manfred Scholch. The Nuance Group executive vice president-sales & marketing Peter Wust will speak on the topic of new concepts in airport retailing.
