According to local reports, Swiss operator Weitnauer Group of Companies has opened a 240sq m (2,582sq ft) outlet at Menara airport in Marrakech

The ?350,000 ($376,000) shop is said to have opened on February 11, and offers a range of jewellery and watches, confectionery, liquor and tobacco, with Moroccan handicrafts and wine to be added soon.

Reports also suggested that Weitnauer intends to open other outlets in Agadir and Casablanca in the coming months. A representative from Weitnauer was unavailable for comment.
